Thomas Boston (1676-1732) spent a lifetime directing souls to Christ. His preaching was searching yet consoling - unsparing in exposing sin and unstinting in exalting the Redeemer's grace. Here are twenty-five of Boston's sermons which, unaccountably missing from the Collected Works, have never been reprinted since 1772. Three more are published in full for the first time. Together, these sermons present the Lord as his people's caring Shepherd. They expose the reasons for God scattering his people, preach the gospel by which God gathers his people again and extol the grace of God in keeping his sheep.
