Donald Munro

The county of Sutherland enjoyed extensive Gospel blessings from the seventeenth century which permeated the whole of its largely rural society. Rev. Donald Munro (1860 - 1937) was a native of Sutherland and spent his lifetime gathering the precious fragments of spiritual experience which had been preserved down the generations. These scattered gleanings were put in order after his death by Rev. Kenneth MacRae, Stornoway, and others, and were first published in 1953. They are reprinted here in the prayerful hope that the readers will get a fresh and reviving taste of what it was like to live in such godly company.
