The first volume traces Lloyd-Jones' career from his rural Welsh roots to a promising medical career (he was Chief Clinical Assistant to the King's Physician, Lord Horder, at age 23) & on to a pastorate in an impoverished Welsh mining town, culminating in a move to London to be assistant to Dr. G. Campbell Morgan at Westminster Chapel. These pages also trace the enlargement of his ministry into wider circles: the universities, Europe, North America, South Africa & ultimately, through his books, the whole world.
